About Us

My name is Graham J. Hadlington and I started Helping Hands UK in August 1992 due to the fact I believed there should be an organisation to evaluate software for visually and physically Challenged PC users. We are a totally non-profit making organisation

I am visually and physically challenged myself, being born with Congenital Cataracts (I am registered blind) and also suffer from Spina Bifida Occulta.

We seek out, review then hopefully recommend mainstream software that we believe will assist the Challenged PC user in their day-to-day computing activity. We have been helped by many of the world’s leading software houses such has Microsoft UK, Borland, Corel, Computer Associates to name but a few.

Luckily, these days I have assistance from my three sons; two of my sons were born with my visual disability but my third sons able bodied.

If you feel your software would be of value to challenged PC users, please contact us and we will review it.
